Throughout the course of the day, Nicola led us through stages of creating a woodland scene adding depth and perspective with the use of inks and acrylics.  We explored mark making and the use of tone to create contrast within the work.  I completed the day having produced a piece of art that I was really happy with.

I always find Nicola’s instructions clear and easy to implement and her knowledge of materials and media is extensive. 

I’ve come away with so many new ideas and new skills that I didn’t know I had!
